Iván Merino Gaspar
Iván Merino Gaspar ist ein spanischer Tanzkünstler und Choreograf, der sich auf zeitgenössischen Tanz spezialisiert hat. Er schloss sein Studium am Chichester Conservatoire in England mit Auszeichnung ab, wo er zudem für seine künstlerische und darstellerische Exzellenz als bester Tänzer seines Jahrgangs ausgezeichnet wurde.
Im Laufe seiner beruflichen Laufbahn arbeitete er mit internationalen Kompanien und Projekten unter anderem in Spanien, Großbritannien, Italien und Frankreich zusammen. Zu seinen bemerkenswertesten Erfahrungen zählt seine Teilnahme an der Biennale von Venedig 2025. Später arbeitete er mit dem Studio Wayne McGregor in London und Italien zusammen und wirkte an der Produktion „Coro“ von Luciano Berio mit. Iván Merino Gaspar is a Spanish dance artist and choreographer specializing in contemporary dance. He graduated with honors from Chichester Conservatoire, England, where he also received the award for Best Dancer of his graduating class in recognition of his artistic and performance excellence.
Throughout his professional career, he has worked with international companies and projects in Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, and France, among other countries. One of his most notable experiences was his participation in the 2025 Venice Biennale. He later collaborated with Studio Wayne McGregor in London and Italy, taking part in the production Coro by Luciano Berio; Alongside his performance work, Iván has developed a choreographic practice, creating work for institutions such as The Place London through its CAT Scheme and presenting his own choreography at the Resolution Festival. He has also collaborated with companies including Otradanza / Asun Noales, Tavaziva Dance Company, Ballet Nights Company, and Lila Dance, participating in international tours, galas, and creative processes. His practice brings together performance, choreography, and education.
Rowan Schratzberger

Gonzalo Alonso
Gonzalo Alonso is a Galician artist whose work moves between sound and body. A classically trained clarinetist and prize-winning graduate, his encounter with contemporary dance at Madrid’s Conservatories Mariemma and María de Ávila expanded his practice into a multidisciplinary exploration of movement and music. Based in Madrid, he collaborates as dancer, creator, and movement director with artists and companies such as Kor’sia, Antonio Ruz, Luca Andrea Tessarini, Manuel Rodríguez, among others. His recent work as a movement director extends dance beyond traditional contexts, engaging with fashion and visual art through collaborations with Loewe, Massimo Dutti and Nike. He is has also dance with singer Nathy Peluso as a dancer for his tour.

Language, Thought and its potential for transformation, as well as Life as an insurmountable horizon that must be cultivated and nurtured both vitally and conceptually, correspond to the development of my main interests and my educational background: literature and linguistics, semiology, and philosophy.
I hold a PhD in Philosophy, under the supervision of Michael Marder at the UPV/EHU, as well as a master’s degree in History and Semiology of text and image directed by Julia Kristeva, at the University of Paris VII. I have been lecturer and professor of undergraduate and graduate courses in philosophy, theories of language, linguistics, literature, foreign languages and Cultural Studies, and have been researcher at various universities in Colombia, France, Portugal and Spain, where I have worked hand in hand with scholars such as Alcira Saavedra, Évelyne Grossman and Catherine Malabou. My main current research topics are modern and contemporary continental philosophy, environmental, and Latin American philosophies.

Ihre Arbeit verbindet Elemente des zeitgenössischen Tanzes, Shuffle und klassischer Swing-Fußarbeit, mit einem besonderen Fokus auf Rhythmus, Bewegungsfreiheit und erzählerischem Ausdruck.
Derzeit ist Stela in verschiedenen Performance-Projekten in der Slowakei und im Ausland aktiv. Zudem erkundet sie die Welt der Flow Arts und des Feuertanzes und erweitert ihre Praxis um Objektmanipulation, visuelle Rhythmen und elementare Präsenz. Sie verfügt über langjährige Erfahrung in der Vermittlung an Tänzer:innen und Bewegungsbegeisterte und schafft Räume für Erkundung, Verspieltheit und individuellen Stil.

In den vergangenen Jahren hat sie intensiv für die Kindersendung Kannerkëscht auf Radio 100,7 sowie für die Philharmonie Luxemburg gearbeitet, wo im Jahr 2025 ihre Stücke De klengen Zauberer Igibus und D’Lotti sicht seng Noss erneut aufgeführt werden. Anja Di Bartolomeo is a highly acclaimed freelance author who writes prose, audio plays, and theater pieces for children, teenagers, and adults. In 2023, her young adult novel Koma 21 won the Audience Award at the Luxembourg Book Prize. In 2024, she was also awarded both the first and second prizes at the National Children’s and Youth Literature Prize.
Over the past years, she has worked extensively for the children’s program Kannerkëscht on radio 100.7 and for the Philharmonie Luxembourg, where in 2025 her plays De klengen Zauberer Igibus and D’Lotti sicht seng Noss will be restaged. In the 2025/26 season, she will also be responsible for the texts for Loopino.

Aliki Zachariadis
Absolventin der London School of Economics und Gewinnerin des „Best Degree“-Preises im Studiengang Management, begann Aliki Zachariadis ihre Karriere im Marketing bei L’Oréal in London. Von 2012 bis 2018 war sie Teil der internationalen Marketingteams von Pernod Ricard und gewann dort einen Intrapreneurship-Wettbewerb, der ihr die Möglichkeit gab, ein eigenes Projekt innerhalb des Konzerns zu gründen.
Anschließend übernahm sie die Position der Marketing- und Kommunikationsdirektorin bei zwei der größten Kosmetikgruppen, wo sie ein Portfolio von Luxusmarken wie Christian Louboutin, Jean Paul Gaultier, Paco Rabanne und Carolina Herrera betreute.
Als Trägerin eines Premier Prix in Jazz Dance des Conservatoire de Luxembourg pflegte Aliki stets eine enge Verbindung zu den Künsten. Im März 2022 kehrte sie in ihr Heimatland zurück und trat ihre derzeitige Position als Leiterin der Abteilung Marketing und Digital an der Philharmonie Luxemburg an – eine Rolle, in der sie ihre Leidenschaft für Musik mit ihrer langjährigen Erfahrung im Bereich Marketing und Kommunikation verbinden kann.

Graduate and winner of the “Best Degree” award in Management from the London School of Economics, Aliki Zachariadis began her career in marketing in London with L’Oréal. From 2012 to 2018, she joined the international marketing teams at Pernod Ricard and won an intrapreneurship competition that allowed her to start her own business within the group. She then became Marketing & Communications Director at two of the largest cosmetics groups, where she managed a portfolio of luxury brands such as Christian Louboutin, Jean Paul Gaultier, Paco Rabanne, and Carolina Herrera.
A holder of a 1er Prix in jazz dance from the Conservatoire de Luxembourg, Aliki has always nurtured a deep connection to the arts. In March 2022, she returned to her native country and joined the Philharmonie Luxembourg as Head of the Marketing and Digital division, allowing her to combine her passion for music with her experience in marketing and communication.

Diese beinhaltet Aufnahmen von Alexandra Duvekot, Jez Riley French, Jeff Rice, Rok Šturm, Hidden Sound, mit Klängen folgender Pflanzen (Beispiele): Hartriegel Strauch (Cornus), Pando Wald – Unter dem Baum (Populus tremu- loides), Japanisches Seegras (Zostera japonica), Seegras (Zostera), Besenginster (Cytisus scopari- us), Mexikanische Springererbsen/Mexikanische Springbohne, Isländische Birke (Betula pubescens), Tomate, Rotbuche (Fagus sylvatica), Eukalyptus (Eucalyptus), Feige (Ficus), Lärchen (Larix), Waldkiefer (Pinus sylvestris), Eichen (Quercus), Seggenwurzeln (Carex), Karden (Dipsacus). Jez Riley French ist ein Klangkünstler mit Sitz im Vereinigten Königreich. Er beschreibt sich selbst als Zuhörer und interessiert sich besonders für die Rolle von Wahrnehmung und Zuschreibung. Großzügig stellte Jez der Plant Philharmonic Klänge von Buche, Eukalyptus, Feige, Schottischer Kiefer, Lärche, Eiche, Binsenwurzeln und Wilder Karde zur Verfügung. Was wir hören, ist eine vielschichtige Komposition aus Klängen, die durch Bewegung und Feuchtigkeit ausgelöst werden – sie reicht von Resonanzen im Inneren von Baumstämmen und Saftströmen bis hin zu Reibungsklängen, wenn sich Stämme aneinander oder an ihrer Umgebung reiben, oder zur sogenannten Kavitationsbildung in den Leitungsbahnen von Pflanzen. Letztere entsteht vermutlich dann, wenn Wassermangel oder Trockenstress zu einem Druckabfall im Gefäßsystem führt, wodurch sich winzige Luftblasen bilden und wieder kollabieren – ein Prozess, der hörbare Geräusche verursachen kann, auch wenn bislang unklar ist, ob Kavitation allein für diese Stressklänge verantwortlich ist.
Jez erzählt, dass das Aufnehmen solcher Klänge zu einem großen Teil vom Zufall abhängt – mitunter dauert es Stunden, bis Pflanzen ihre inneren Geräusche preisgeben.
Alexandra Duvekot hat Saftströme von Bäumen mit speziellen Kontaktmikrofonen aufgenommen – in Amsterdam, im Süden Frankreichs und in Luxemburg. Sogar die Bäume im Luxemburger Stadtpark sowie im kleinen Park hinter dem Theater sind Teil des Ensembles, das wir für die Plant Philharmonic geschaffen haben.
Hidden Sound, ein Klangkünstler mit Sitz in Island, erforscht in seiner Arbeit Trees in Motion die feinen, oft unhörbaren Klänge, die Bäume in Beziehung zu ihrer Umwelt erzeugen. Das Leben der Elemente – ob Wind, Regen oder Erde – fließt durch die Vielfalt der Pflanzenwelt und bringt eine pflanzliche Einheit mit dem Gewebe des Lebens zum Ausdruck.
Rok Šturm, Wissenschaftler aus Slowenien, teilte Einblicke aus seiner einjährigen Forschung zum Thema Gemeinschaften, Interaktionen und Kommunikation in Ökosystemen durch Ekotremologie, durchgeführt am Nationalen Institut für Biologie in Slowenien*.
Insekten wie Zikaden nutzen vibrationsbasierte Signale, die sich durch Pflanzenteile wie Blätter, Stängel und Wurzeln fortpflanzen, um miteinander zu kommunizieren. Diese Signale – entscheidend etwa bei der Partnersuche – breiten sich als Biegewellen durch das pflanzliche Substrat aus. Zikaden sind vollständig auf Pflanzen angewiesen: als Lebensraum, Nahrungsquelle – und als Medium für Kommunikation und Fortpflanzung.
Aktuelle Studien zeigen zunehmend, dass Pflanzen auf solche mechanischen Reize reagieren können. Vibrationsaufnahmen in natürlichen Umgebungen wie Wiesen erfassen sowohl von Insekten erzeugte Signale als auch solche, die durch Umweltfaktoren wie Wind oder Regen entstehen – aufgenommen mit Laser-Vibrometern oder Kontaktmikrofonen.

Jeff Rice ist ein Klangkünstler aus Seattle, Washington, der seine Forschungen zum Pando Forest und zur Keimung von Samen aus akustischer Perspektive mit uns teilte. Der Pando-Wald ist eine 43 Hektar große klonale Kolonie der Amerikanischen Zitterpappel (Populus tremuloides) im südlichen Zentral-Utah. Dieser Wald stellt unsere Vorstellung von Individualität und Kollektivität in Frage: Obwohl er wie ein normaler Wald aussieht, handelt es sich in Wahrheit um ein einziges genetisches Individuum, das auf ein Alter von bis zu 80.000 Jahren geschätzt wird.
Pando besteht aus etwa 40.000 genetisch identischen Bäumen – oder „Stämmen“ – die durch ein gemeinsames Wurzelsystem miteinander verbunden sind. Damit gilt er als eines der ältesten und größten lebenden Wesen der Erde. Jeff Rice erklärt: „Pando stellt unser grundlegendes Weltverständnis infrage. Die Vorstellung, dass dieser riesige Wald ein einziger Organismus sein könnte, widerspricht unserem Konzept des Individuums. Seine Weite relativiert unser Raumgefühl.“
Im Juli 2022 platzierte Rice ein Hydrofon in Kontakt mit den Wurzeln eines der Bäume der Pando-Kolonie. Das Gerät nahm tiefe Vibrationen unter dem Baum auf – möglicherweise ausgehend von den Wurzeln oder dem umliegenden Erdreich. Die Aufnahmen entstanden während eines Gewitters und könnten auch das Rascheln von Millionen zitternder Espenblätter im Wind enthalten.
Rice dokumentierte auch intimere pflanzliche Prozesse – etwa das Knacken von Ginster-Samenschoten, die an warmen Tagen mit leisen, perkussiven Geräuschen aufspringen, um ihre Samen freizusetzen. Ebenso enthüllen die sanften Rasselgeräusche einer Mexikanischen „Springbohne“ die Bewegung einer darin lebenden Larve.
Mit seiner Arbeit lädt Jeff Rice dazu ein, sich auf die verborgenen Akustiken der natürlichen Welt einzulassen – Vibrationen und Geräusche, die jenseits unseres alltäglichen Hörvermögens liegen und doch tiefe Einblicke in Lebensprozesse, Vernetzungen und die Grenzen zwischen Organismus und Umwelt gewähren.
The Plant Philharmonic features an assemblage of diverse plant sounds captured through a variety of technical means by both sound artists, bio accousi- tic labs as well as scientists. Over the past year, Elis- abeth researched both direct and non-direct plant sounds and formed the Plant Philharmonic, which entail sounds recorded by: Alexandra Duvekot, Jez Riley French, Jeff Rice, Rok Šturm, Hidden Sound, featuring the following plants (example):

Jez Riley French is a sound artist based in the UK. He describes himself asa listener, interested also in the roles of perception and imposition. Jez generously gifted the Plant Philharmonic with the sounds of the beech, eucalyptus, fig, scots pine, larch, oak, sedge roots, and teasel. What we hear is a rich composition of sound sources triggered by both movement and hydration – ranging from the resonance within tree trunks and sap streams to the friction of trunks rubbing against each other or their surroundings or cavitation in plant vessels. Cavitation in plants is believed to occur when water stress or lack of irrigation causes a drop in pressure within their vascular system, leading to the formation and collapse of tiny air bubbles that may produce sounds, though it remains uncertain if cavitation is the sole cause of these stress-related noises. Jez shares that capturing the sounds largely depends on luck, sometimes it takes hours before species reveal their inner sounds.
Alexandra Duvekot recorded sap streams of trees with special contact microphones in both Amsterdam, the South of France as well as Luxembourg. Even the trees in Luxembourg’s City Park as well as in the small park behind the theatre are part of the ensemble that we built for the Plant Philharmonic.
Hidden Sound is sound artist based in Iceland who in his recording work ‘Trees in Motion’ explores the subtle sounds that trees make in relation to their environment. The life of the elements flows through the diversity ofplant life – whether wind, rain, or earth – expressing a vegetal oneness withthe fabric of life itself.
Rok Šturm, a scientist from Slovenia, shared insights from his year-long research on Communities, Interactions, and Communication in Ecosystems through Ecotremology, conducted at the National Institute of Biology, Slovenia*. Insects such as leafhoppers use substrate-borne vibrational signals tocommunicate through plant tissues like leaves, stems, and roots. Thesesignals, which are crucial for behaviours like mate finding, are transmittedas bending waves that travel through the substrate. Leafhoppers dependentirely on plants – not only as a food source and habitat but also as amedium for communication and therefore reproduction. These are actuallybending waves, and recent research increasingly shows that plants areable to sense and respond to such mechanical stimuli. Vibrationalrecordings collected in natural environments, such as meadows, captureboth insect-generated signals and those caused by abiotic factors like windand rain, using tools ranging from laser vibrometers to contactmicrophones.

Jeff Rice is a sound artist based in Seattle, Washington who sharedwith us his research on the Pando Forest and seed germination through thelens of sound. The Pando Forest is a 43-hectare clonal colony of the American quaking aspen (Populus tremuloides), located in south-centralUtah. This forest challenges conventional notions of individuality andcollectivity: although it appears as a forest, it is, in fact, a single geneticindividual estimated to be up to 80,000 years old.Pando consists of approximately 40,000 genetically identical trees—or“stems”—all connected through a shared root system, making it one of theoldest and largest living organisms on Earth. As Jeff Rice explained, “Pando challenges our basic understanding of the world. The idea that this giant forest could be a single organism defies our concept of the individual. Its vastness humbles our sense of space.” In July 2022, Rice placed a hydrophone in contact with the roots of one of the trees in the Pando colony. The device captured deep vibrations beneath the tree, possibly emanating from the roots or surrounding soil. These recordings were made during a thunder storm and may include the sound of millions of aspen leaves trembling in the wind. Rice also shared recordings of more intimate plant processes. For example, the popping of Scotch broom seed pods, which create subtle percussive sounds as they burst open on warm days to release seeds. Similarly, the soft rattling of a Mexican “jumping bean” reveals the gentle motion caused by a larva moving inside. Through his work, Rice invites listeners to tune into the hidden acoustics of the natural world—vibrations and sounds that exist beyond the range of ordinary human hearing, yet offer powerful insights into life processes, interconnectedness, and the boundaries between organism and environment.
Aurore Mettray studierte Tanz an der Internationalen Tanzakademie in Paris (AID).
Nach ihrem Abschluss im Alter von 22 Jahren vertiefte Aurore ihr Wissen über zeitgenössischen Tanz durch die Teilnahme an Workshops wie La Veronal, Wim Vandekeybus, Hofesh Schechter und Los Little Guys.
Gleichzeitig arbeitet Aurore mit verschiedenen Kompanien und Produktionen in Frankreich und im Ausland zusammen. Sie wird die Gelegenheit haben, mit Choreographen wie Sarah Adjou, Giuliano Peparini, Franco Dragon, Damien Jallet und Alexander Ekman zusammenzuarbeiten.
Im Jahr 2021 entdeckt sie auch ihre Leidenschaft für die Schauspielerei. Sie entscheidet sich für eine Ausbildung im Studio Pygmalion.

Noa Nies ist eine engagierte zeitgenössische Tänzerin aus Luxemburg, die ihre Ausbildung in klassischen, zeitgenössischen, urbanen und lateinamerikanischen Tanzstilen miteinander verbindet. Sie begann ihr Studium am Konservatorium der Stadt Luxemburg und bildete sich bei Institutionen wie der Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company und CobosMika weiter. Ihr vielseitiger Hintergrund hat es ihr ermöglicht, ein abgerundetes Spektrum an Fähigkeiten und eine tiefe Wertschätzung für Bewegung in verschiedenen Formen zu entwickeln.
Beruflich hatte Noa das Privileg, mit Kompanien wie Elisabeth Schilling & Company, Z Art Dance von Giovanni Zazzera und JC Movement Production von Jill Crovisier aufzutreten. Manuela ist eine zeitgenössische Performerin, Choreografin und Tänzerin aus Spanien und Argentinien. Sie absolvierte ihre Ballettausbildung am Königlichen Ballettkonservatorium in Spanien und studierte ihren Bachelor an der SEAD in Performance und Choreografie. Ihr Stil ist eine Mischung aus all diesen Disziplinen, einschließlich Akrobatik, urbanen Stilen, Bodenarbeit und einer breiten Palette an zeitgenössischen Techniken. Derzeit arbeitet sie als Freiberuflerin für das Kinetic Orchestra. Manuela Hierl’s choreographies have a strong feminist and political approach. On a side note, she won several breaking battles in Europe and Argentina and was semi-finalist at Red Bull BC one Austria.
Clara Berrod ist eine französische Musikvermittlerin und Kulturmanagerin. Ihr Interesse gilt vor allem der Konzeption und Planung von Konzerten und Festivals. Nach einem Studium an der Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar (DE), im Bereich Orchestermanagement, Musikethnologie und -wissenschaft, trat sie 2021 der Philharmonie Luxembourg, als Education Managerin bei.
Sie entwickelte und plante zahlreiche Konzert- und Workshop-Formate und war zuständig für die Branche „Partizipation“. Frau Berrod lernte die Choreographin Elisabeth Schilling 2021 im Rahmen von Kreationen für junge Amateur-Tänzer*innen in der Philharmonie Luxembourg kennen. Seit 2024 unterstützt Frau Berrod die Compagnie als Fundrasing Manager.
Clara Berrod is a French music mediator and cultural manager. She is particularly interested in the conception and planning of concerts and festivals. After studying at the Franz Liszt School of Music in Weimar (DE), in the field of orchestra management, ethnomusicology and musicology, she joined the Philharmonie Luxembourg in 2021, as Education Manager. She developed and planned numerous concert and workshop formats and was responsible for the ‘Participation’ sector.
Ms Berrod met the choreographer Elisabeth Schilling in 2021 in the context of creations for young amateur dancers at the Philharmonie Luxembourg. Ms Berrod has been supporting the company as Fundrasing Manager since 2024.
The ensemble for contemporary music United Instruments of Lucilin was founded in 1999 by a group of passionate and committed musicians and is the only Luxembourgish chamber music ensemble specialised in contemporary music. Dedicated exclusively to promoting and com- missioning works of the 20th and 21st century, United Instruments of Lucilin is now known for its outstanding programs around the world.
In about 40 concerts a year, Lucilin presents a broad scope of musical events, ranging from “traditional” concerts to music theatre produc- tions, children projects, improvisation sessions as well as discussions with composers.
United Instruments of Lucilin works in close col- laboration with the Grand Théâtre de Luxem- bourg in the field of contemporary opera and music theatre projects and premiered, among others, Toshio Hosokawa’s monodrama The Raven with Charlotte Hellekant, Philippe Man- oury’s «thinkspiel» Kein Licht staged by Nicolas Stemann, and recently Adam Maor’s opera TheSleeping Thousand, premiered at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence (France).
United Instruments of Lucilin organises every year, together with neimënster and the rainy days festival (Philharmonie Luxembourg), the Luxembourg Composition Academy, the only composition masterclass held in Luxembourg, and invites eight young composers to work on a brand new piece.
Over the years, United Instruments of Lucilin is continuously reaching a growing enthusiastic audience and has been encouraging innova- tive musical expressions, as with Black Mirror, an immersive experience taking place in an abandoned hotel, commissioned to Alexander Schubert and premiered in 2016 during the Philharmonie Luxembourg’s rainy days festival, another major partner of the ensemble. In May 2022, the ensemble premiered Sleep Laborato- ry, Alexander Schubert’s last immersive project with VR at the Acht Brücken festival in Cologne, at the Venice Biennale and at the rainy days fes- tival.
Lately, United Instruments of Lucilin has commissioned works to James Dillon, Fatima Fonte, Giulia Lorusso, Philippe Manoury, Sonja Mutić, François Sarhan, Igor Silva and Stefan Prins.

Fasziniert davon, dass Pflanzen tatsächlich Klänge erzeugen, welche zudem verstärkt werden können, begann die Künstlerin und Musikerin Alexandra Duvekot Anfang September 2012 im Biolabor der School of Visual Arts in New York Pflanzenklänge zuerforschen.
„Pflanzenklänge” können als Kommunikationsmittel verstanden werden, und es scheint, als reagierten Pflanzen auf den Menschen und seine Umgebung. Der tatsächliche Klang der Pflanzen selbst ist schwer zu erfassen, doch lassen sich Daten und Schwingungen auf sinnvolle Weise in Klang umwan- deln. Der Wunsch, den Klang von Pflanzen zu hö- ren, führte Duvekot zu gründlichen Recherchen und Gesprächen mit verschiedenen Wissenschaftlern, Klangexperten und Philosophen in aller Welt.
Für einen Aufenthalt im STEIM in Amsterdam im Jahr 2014 sammelte Duvekot 20 Pflanzen, um mit ihnen eine musikalische Performance auf einer Tonhöhe von 432 Hz zu kreieren und gleichzeitig die Unterschiede im Verhalten der Pflanzen zu untersuchen. Dies war der Beginn eines fortlaufenden Projekts, das nach sei- nen Teilnehmern den Namen „The Plant Orchestra” erhielt.
Die Aufführung des Plant Orchestra besteht aus einer mit Pflanzen interagierenden Musikkomposition, in der der Klang von Pflanzen und die Möglichkeit des Kontakts zwischen Mensch und Pflanze erforscht wer- den. Seit 2012 geht dieses Projekt auf Tournee, wobei sich dem Orchester verschiedene Mitglieder aus loka- len botanischen Gärten, Wäldern und Wohnzimmern anschließen. Ein Wald auf der Insel Terschelling hat ein Klangstück mit den „Herzschlägen” seiner Bäume aufgeführt, eine Gruppe von Wissenschaftlern hat Geschichten über das Leben der Pflanzen erzählt und diverse botanische Gärten wurden in Galerien und Theatern von New York City bis Porto ausgestellt.
Fascinated by the possibility of plant amplifica- tion and their capacity to produce actual sound Dutch / Canadian artist and musician Alexan- dra Duvekot started researching the sound of plants early September 2012 at the bio lab of The School Of Visual Arts in NYC.
‘Plant sounds’ can be understood as a means of communication and it appears that plants react to mankind and its environment. The real sound of plants themselves is hard to capture, but data and vibrations can be converted to sound in meaningful ways. The desire to hear the sound of plants lead to thorough research and dialogues with several scientists, sound ex- perts and philosophers around the world.
For a residency at STEIM in Amsterdam in 2014, Duvekot collected 20 plants to create a musical performance on a 432 Hz pitch while investi- gating their differences in behavior. This was the start of an ongoing project called after its participants; The Plant Orchestra.
The Plant Orchestra performance consists of a musical composition interacting with plants and research on the sound of plants and the possi- bility of contact between human and plant. This project has been touring since 2012 with differ- ent members joining the orchestra from local botanical gardens, forests and living rooms. A forest on the island of Terschelling has been performing a sonic piece with the heartbeats of its trees, a group of scientists have been telling stories about plant life and different botanical gardens have been exhibited in galleries and theaters from New York City to Porto.
After studying political science and the administration of cultural structures, Marie wrote an awarded master-thesis on the structuring of the field of contemporary dance in France through the history of the Maison de la Danse in Lyon.

Seit 2018 arbeitet sie mit Faso danse théâtre und dem Choreografen Serge Aimé Coulibaly zusammen und tritt in ganz Europa und Afrika auf. Ihr jüngstes Projekt, die Teilnahme an der Produktion “El Público” unter der Regie von Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, hat ihre Position als herausragende Tänzerin in der Welt des Tanzes weiter gefestigt.

Over the years, Giulia participated in Anton Lachky’s creation at La Biennale di Venezia in 2014 and worked for the Wee dance company at Gerhart Hauptmann Theater Görlitz and Ballett Theater Pforzheim in Germany. In 2018, she began collaborating with Faso danse théâtre and the choreographer Serge Aimé Coulibaly, performing across Europe and Africa. Her most recent venture, joining the production “El Público” directed by Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, has further solidified her position as a prominent dancer in the world of dance.
Aside from her dance career, Giulia has dedicated many years to the study of Yoga and has actively explored various martial arts such as Kung Fu and Kalaripayattu, a traditional South Indian martial art that developed alongside Ayurveda and Yoga.
Geboren in der Normandie (FR), wuchs Rosanne in einem künstlerischen Umfeld auf und geriet schon früh in den Bann des Tanzes. Sie studierte zwischen 2009 und 2012 Ballett, zeitgenössischen Tanz und Jazz am Konservatorium von Rouen.
2012 trat sie dem Ballet Junior de Genève bei, mit dem sie die Möglichkeit hatte, mit international renommierten Choreographen zu arbeiten und Werke von Marina Mascarell, Ioannis Mandafounis, Roy Assaf, Barak Marshall, Hofesh Shechter … aufzuführen.

Born in Normandy (FR), Rosanne grew up in an artistic setting and fell under the spell of dance very early on. She studied ballet, contemporary and jazz dance at the Conservatoire of Rouen between 2009 and 2012.

In 2014 Rosanne co-founded Junebug Company, with Sophie Ammann and Erin O’Reilly. Together, they created several works mainly performed in Switzerland, Scotland and Ireland between 2015 and 2018.
Since she finished her training, Rosanne is freelancing through Europe. She joined company 7273 in 2017 for a takeover in Tarab and again for the creation of Nuit in 2019. She worked with Antonin Rioche for the creation of The Others and the short movie Finally a Sign of Life, The Cie Meyer Chaffaud for their creation #Soul4 and Body intelligence collective for the project digital umbilical amongst other projects.

Im Jahr 2025 erhielt sie am Centre National de la Danse in Paris die Zertifizierung als Ballettpädagogin mit einem Schwerpunkt auf Sexismus in der Ballettpädagogik.
Marla ist eine walisische freischaffende Tanzkünstlerin, Moderatorin, Massagetherapeutin und Verfechterin der Klimagerechtigkeit. Marla vertieft ihr choreografisches Handwerk auch durch einen choreografischen Auftrag im Rahmen des von Richard Chappell Dance entwickelten Supporting Acts-Programms im Jahr 2022 und durch die Mitgründung des glanio collective, das seit 2021 zusammenarbeitet.

Marla ist außerdem Mitorganisatorin und Vorstandsmitglied des Resilience Project, einer von Jugendlichen geleiteten Organisation mit der Vision, junge Menschen, die unter Klimaangst und Burnout durch Aktivismus leiden, durch die Erforschung kreativer Prozesse zu stärken, die zur Förderung des emotionalen Bewusstseins und der kollektiven Fürsorge innerhalb aktivistischer Räume beitragen können.
Stefane Meseguer Alves stammt aus Luxemburg und studierte klassischen und zeitgenössischen Tanz am Konservatorium der Stadt Luxemburg und an der Frankfurter Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst. Nach seinem Studium wurde er für zwei Spielzeiten Mitglied des Saarländischen Staatsballetts.
Danach arbeitete er als Freiberufler in Deutschland und wurde Mitglied des Donlon Dance Collective unter der Leitung der Choreografin Marguerite Donlon im Theater für Niederschachen. Später trat Stefane in einer Oper in der Oper Frankfurt für Tobias Krazter auf.
Danach tanzte er auch im Hessischen Staatsballett und im Theater Osnabrück. In Luxemburg trat er mit der Z-Art Company unter der Leitung von Giovanni Zazzera auf.

Julien wird am Ausbildungszentrum Epsedanse in Montpellier in Klassik, Jazz und zeitgenössischem Tanz ausgebildet. Im Jahr 2009 erhielt er einen Platz beim Genfer Junior Ballett, wo er mit Choreographen wie Hofesh Shechter, Andonis Foniadakis und Alexander Ekman zusammenarbeitete. Ein Jahr später schloss er sich der Kompanie Alias an und setzte dann seine Karriere beim Nationalballett von Marseille unter der Leitung von Frédéric Flamand fort. Dort lernte er Olivier Dubois kennen, der ihn, nachdem er ihn zum Tanzen gebracht hatte, als Assistent für die Neuinszenierung seines Stücks “Élégie” engagierte.
Ende 2014 kam Julien nach Paris und schloss sich der Crew des Musicals “Resiste” an, das von Marion Motin choreografiert wurde. Danach arbeitete er mit ihr bei der Fashion Freak Show von Jean Paul Gaultier und kürzlich bei ihrem choreografischen Stück “Le Grand Sot” zusammen. Parallel dazu kreiert Julien seine eigenen Choreografien, insbesondere für die Serie “L’Opera”.

Marla is a Welsh freelance dance artist, facilitator, massage therapist and climate justice advocate. She trained at Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2016 – 2018) and was then an apprentice dancer with National Dance Company Wales, rehearsing and performing work by choreographers including Alexandra Waierstall, Fearghus Ó Conchúir, Nikita Goile and Caroline Finn. She has since worked as a freelance dance artist with Rhiannon Faith Company, Rendez Vous Dance, Richard Chappell Dance, Gwyn Emberton, Eleesha Drennan, Impelo, Elisabeth Schilling, Jack Philp and National Dance Company Wales.
Marla facilitates movement workshops, and enjoys teaching in various contexts. She sees this practice through the lens of the Welsh word ‘dysgu’ which translates to mean both to learn and to teach, and she is passionate about this reciprocal exchange, the connection and growth it offers. Marla is also deepening explorations of her choreographic craft through a choreographic commission as part of the Supporting Acts Programme developed by Richard Chappell Dance in 2022, and also through co-creating the glanio collective who have been collaborating together since 2021.
As well as her creative career, Marla facilitates workshops and dialogue sessions with various creatives and arts organisations around embedding values of climate justice and ecological consciousness within their work. She’s an active member of the union Equity, on council and through the Equity for a Green New Deal network, advocating and campaigning for climate justice within the sector and beyond. Marla is also a co-facilitator and board member of the Resilience Project, a youth-led organisation with a vision to empower young people who are experiencing climate anxiety and burnout from activism, through exploring creative processes that can help foster emotional awareness and collective care within activist spaces.
Lou started dancing in her hometown at the age of 5. In 2012 she joined Ballet Junior de Genève where she danced works of renowned choreographers like Alexander Ekman or Hofesh Schechter.

Grew up in Vojvodina in the former Yugoslavia as part of the Hungarian minority. Since 2004 she has been working as a freelance artist, costume and stage designer for theatre and film and has worked with directors including: Matthias von Stegmann, Margit Mezgolich, Esther Muschol, Anne Simon, Jean Michel Bruyère, Boris C. Motzki, Peter Kern, Gernot Plass, Houchana Allahyari, Goldfarb&Goldfarb, Dàniel Bères. She has had numerous group and solo exhibitions in renowned galleries in Austria, Hungary, Canada, Slovenia and Romania.

Jean-François BOUKOBZA holds the teacher’s diploma of music culture, the diploma of music school director and the teacher’s diploma of piano. He teaches analysis and aesthetics at the ‘Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris’, at the ‘Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional d’Aubervilliers-La Courneuve’ and at the ‘Pôle Supérieur de Seine Saint-Denis’. From 1994 to 2002 he was a producer at ‘Radio Classique’ and writes regularly for the magazine ‘Avant-Scène Opéra’, for which he has written numerous studies on lyrical works of the 19th and 20th centuries. Pascal Schumacher is without doubt one of the most versatile musicians of his generation. The musical influences from which he develops his always authentic total works of art are manifold – as a vibraphonist, composer, bandleader or sound director,
composer, bandleader or sound director. He has played together with such exciting musicians as Maxime Delpierre, Francesco Tristano, Bachar Mar Khalifé, Jef Neve, Kenny Barron, Magic Malik, Rabih Abou-Khalil, Nelson Veras and Nils Frahm. He fuses emotional classical music with minimalist electronic sounds to create what is called modern classical music – but for Schumacher himself, any classification is obsolete. For him, music is one boundless playground.
Stephanie Schroedter has been working at the interface of music, dance and theatre since completing her doctorate in music/dance studies in Salzburg (2001, awarded the North Rhine-Westphalia Dance Science Prize). In addition to designing and contributing to FWF-, DFG- and SNF-funded research projects, she has held professorships in music, dance, theatre and media studies (Bern, Bayreuth, Berlin, Heidelberg, etc.). In 2015 she habilitated at the Free University of Berlin and received the venia legendi for dance and music studies. She has organised several international symposiums with a thematic focus on music/dance theatre and performance and publishes on relevant topics in relevant journals and anthologies – in addition to her lecturing activities in Europe, Canada and the USA. She has been continuing her DFG-funded research project “Bodies and Sounds in Movement”, which began in 2017 at the Free University of Berlin and involves developing methods of music-choreographic and sound-performative staging and performance analysis, since March 2021 as part of her professorship for “Theories of Music and Movement/Rhythm” at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw).
Stephanie Schroedter arbeitet seit ihrer musik-/tanzwissenschaftlichen Promotion in Salzburg (2001, Auszeichnung mit dem Tanzwissenschaftspreis Nordrhein-Westfalen) an der Schnittstelle von Musik, Tanz und Theater. Neben der Konzeption und Mitwirkung an FWF-, DFG- und SNF-geförderten Forschungsprojekten vertrat sie Professuren für Musik-, Tanz-, Theater- und Medienwissenschaft (Bern, Bayreuth, Berlin, Heidelberg etc.). 2015 habilitierte sie sich an der Freien Universität Berlin und erhielt die Venia legendi für Tanz- und Musikwissenschaft. Sie organisierte mehrere internationale Symposien mit thematischen Schwerpunkten im Bereich Musik-/Tanztheater und Performance und publiziert zu entsprechenden Themenfeldern in einschlägigen Fachjournalen und Sammelbänden – neben ihrer Vortragstätigkeit in Europa, Kanada und den USA. Ihr 2017 an der FU Berlin begonnenes, von DFG gefördertes Forschungsprojekt „Körper und Klänge in Bewegung“, in dessen Rahmen Methoden einer musikchoreographischen bzw. klangperformativen Inszenierungs- und Aufführungsanalyse erarbeitet werden, setzt sie seit März 2021 im Rahmen ihrer Professur für „Theorien von Musik und Bewegung/Rhythmik“ an der Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien (mdw) fort.
Emile ist Kunstkritiker, Kunstschaffender und Berater in Luxemburg. Er hat sich auf die grenzüberschreitende kulturelle Zusammenarbeit spezialisiert, wobei seine Erfahrungen von internationalen Beziehungen bis hin zur künstlerischen Leitung reichen. Im Bereich der Kulturdiplomatie arbeitete er insbesondere als Sekretär von Jack Lang, dem ehemaligen französischen Staatsminister für Kultur, Kommunikation und Bildung.
Emile entwickelt derzeit Projekte im Bereich der immersiven Kunst (Fulldome, VR) und der Lichtkunst (Vergoldung, Verglasung) mit einem großen Interesse an phänomenologischer Ästhetik. Er beschäftigte sich mit einem breiten Spektrum künstlerischer Disziplinen – Ausstellungskuratierung, Tanztheaterinszenierung, digitale Kunstproduktion, Festivalprogrammierung – und veröffentlichte diverse kritische Rezensionen.
Neben dem Konservatorium wurde er an der Khâgne-Hypokhâgne ,de la Tour’ ausgebildet. Das vorbereitende Studium der Geisteswissenschaften führte ihn zu einem Studium der Philosophie, Kunstkritik und des Kulturmanagements an den Universitäten Luxemburg, Metz und Straßburg. Emile lebte auch in Paris, Wien, Lissabon, Kairo und Mcleodganj im westlichen Himalaya-Gebirge.
Jon ist ein erfahrener Produzent mit einem diversen Hintergrund in den Bereichen Kreativität, Management und Produktion. Er studierte Tanztheater an der Laban University und machte 2011 seinen Abschluss, was seine Produktionskarriere prägte.

Jon is an experienced Producer with a diverse background in creativity, management and production. He studied Dance Theatre at Laban, graduating in 2011 and this has defined his production career.
Between 2011 and 2020 Jon worked for numerous artists and cultural organisations producing work for stage, touring, film, TV and special projects. He has also produced internationally and across Europe working on behalf of the British Council, the Arts Council, the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation and Creative & Cultural Skills. Now based in Basel, Switzerland, Jon is working as a freelance Producer, Executive Producer and Technical Director across a number of projects. He is driven to create truly accessible, inclusive and diverse experiences which give more to this world than they take away.

Aifric ist derzeit aktives Mitglied von Lucoda und wird 2021 in zwei Stücken von Rhiannon Morgan auftreten.
In ihrer eigenen choreografischen Arbeit hat sie 2017 mit der Sängerin Gemma Dunleavy (IRE) und dem Tanzkünstler Daniel Persson (SE) an der Kreation von Inside, the Wolf… zusammengearbeitet. 2019/2020 choreografierte sie gemeinsam mit Stefano Spinelli (LU) das Jugendtanzprojekt Melusina’s Moves, das in luxemburgischen Schulen aufgeführt wurde, und zuletzt choreografierte sie für das Community-Tanzprojekt Voix Moi von Lucoda (2021). Irish-born Aifric Ní Chaoimh works in Luxembourg as a dance artist, teacher and choreographer. She is a graduate of London Contemporary Dance School, earning a first class BA(Hons) in Contemporary Dance (2013). Born in Scotland, Malcolm trained at the Central School of Ballet in London. He began his professional career as an apprentice with Ballet Basel before joining Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballett, where he spent seven years performing works by renowned choreographers including Jiří Kylián, Nacho Duato, Ohad Naharin, Mats Ek, Johan Inger and Crystal Pite, among others.
Der in Schottland geborene Malcolm absolvierte seine Tanzausbildung an der Central School of Ballet in London. Seitdem er als freischaffender Künstler tätig ist, arbeitet Malcolm international als Performer mit Kompanien und unabhängigen Künstler:innen, darunter Michael Clark, Oceanallover, Klever Dance Company, Dance Theatre Luxembourg, Elisabeth Schilling, Focus Dance, Shang-Chi Sun Company, Kollektiv 52°07, Shaper/Caper, Rob Heaslip, Gwynne Bilski, Roisin O’Brien, Choreolab Ulm, Dumfries & Galloway Dance, Abby Warrilow, Ioanna Anousaki, Constant Vigier, Imaginate, Scottish Opera, Edinburgh Magic Festival und Snap Elastic, unter anderem.
Malcolm hat außerdem zahlreiche Bühnenwerke choreografiert, darunter vier abendfüllende Produktionen, und schloss seinen Masterstudiengang (MA) in Choreografie mit Auszeichnung ab. Darüber hinaus arbeitete er als choreografischer Assistent und Probenleiter an Projekten in Berlin, Málaga und Luxemburg.
Daniel Jones comes from Luxembourg and studied political science at the Free University of Brussels in Brussels. Besides his studies, he worked as a freelancer at the Trifolion House of Culture and Congress, where he replaced the position of project manager in the summer of 2021. During this time he had the chance to work with Elisabeth Schilling, resulting in the current continued collaboration.
In September 2021, he officially continues his work as project manager at the Trifolion full-time and is looking forward to new challenges.
Daniel Jones kommt aus Luxemburg und hat Politikwissenschaft an der Freien Universität Brüssel in Brüssel studiert. Neben dem Studium arbeitete er als Freelancer im Kultur- und Kongresshaus Trifolion, wo er im Sommer 2021 die Stelle des Projektmanagers ersetzt hat. Während dieser Zeit hatte er die Chance mit Elisabeth Schilling zusammenzuarbeiten, wodurch die jetzige weitere Zusammenarbeit resultiert.
Im September 2021 setzt er seine Arbeit als Projektmanager im Trifolion offiziell in Vollzeit fort und freut sich auf neue Herausforderungen.
Eva Martinez ist Kuratorin, Produzentin, Dramaturgin und Coach für darstellende Künste. Zuletzt war sie Artistic Programmer bei Sadler’s Wells in London (2013-2020), wo sie für das Lilian Baylis Studio ein Programm kuratierte, das im Besonderen KünstlerInnen aus Großbritannien neben den renommiertesten internationalen Arbeiten präsentierte und neue KünstlerInnen auf die Hauptbühne brachte. Sie leitete die Künstlerentwicklung und Recherche für dieses renommierte Tanzhaus und unterstützte eine neue Generation von KünstlerInnen dabei, ihre künstlerische Stimme zu festigen und einem großen Publikum neue Perspektiven zu vermitteln. Vor dieser Tätigkeit war sie Dance and Performance Programmer am Southbank Centre, London (2009-2011), Europas größtem Kunstzentrum.
Eva Martinez is a performing arts curator, producer, dramaturge and coach. She was most recently Artistic Programmer at Sadler’s Wells in London (2013-2020) where she curated a programme showcasing distinctive artists based in the UK alongside the best of international work for the Lilian Baylis Studio, as well as introducing new artists to the mainstage. She led on artist development and research for this most prestigious dance house, supporting a new generation of makers to consolidate their artistic voices, bringing new perspectives to a large audience. Prior to this role, she was Dance and Performance programmer at Southbank Centre, London (2009-2011), Europe’s largest arts centre.
Born and educated in France with a Spanish heritage, she moved to the UK in 2000 and is currently based in London. She joined Trinity Laban (2002-2006) as the school moved into their award-winning building, then joined national dance agency Dance4 (Nottingham, 2006-2009) where she managed the delivery of nottdance, a distinctive international festival of new movements in dance, taking her first steps as curator.
Now freelance with 20 years’ experience, Eva is focusing on her practice as coach, mentor and dramaturge with dance artists and change makers. She is a sought-after curator and consultant, collaborating with an extended network of cultural organisations internationally; she is known for her empowering and facilitative approach to talent development, for her championing of experimentation and diversity, and specifically for supporting the rebalancing of inequities in relation to gender and racial structural discrimination.
Jürgen Greis ist Master zertifizierter Therapeut für myofasziales Taping und Faszien Integration der Markus Erhard Academy und ausgebildeter Faszien Trainer durch die Deutschen Trainer Akademie in Köln.
Durch die Anwendung der revolutionären Technik des myofaszialen Tapings und Faszien Integration auf den Gebieten Schmerztherapie, Leistungssteigerung im Sport kann Jürgen in der Zwischenzeit auf ein breites und internationales Klientel aus Deutschland, Frankreich und Luxemburg aus den Bereichen Business, Kultur und Sport zurückgreifen.
Neben Elisabeth Schillings Tänzern betreut Jürgen auch Athleten aus den Leistungssportbereichen des Fußballs, Basketballs und der Leichtathletik und ist gefragter Faszientherapeut im Bereich Schmerztherapie und Leistungssteigerung im Sport.
Im Juli 2017 gründete Jürgen gemeinsam mit seiner Geschäftspartnerin Carina Stock die Gesundheits- und Physiotherapiepraxis Fit-Konzept (www.fit-konzept.de).
Neben Physiotherapie und myofaszialer Behandlung bieten Carina und Jürgen auch zusätzlich Ernährungsberatung und Gesundheitstraining an. Auf diesen Gebieten hat Jürgen die Ernährungstrainer B Lizenz und die Lizenz für Gesundheitstraining bei der BSA-Akademie in Saarbrücken erworben.
Jürgen Greis is a Master certified Therapist for Myofascial Taping and Fascia Integration by the Markus Erhard Academy and a trained Fascia Trainer by the Deutsche Trainer Akademie in Cologne.
By using the revolutionary technique of myofascial taping and fascia integration, Jürgen can now fall back on a broad and international clientele from Germany, France and Luxembourg from the fields of business, culture and sport.
In addition to Elisabeth Schilling’s dancers, Jürgen also looks after athletes from the competitive sports fields of football, basketball and athletics and is a sought-after fascia therapist in the field of pain therapy and performance enhancement in sports.
In July 2017 Jürgen and his business partner Carina Stock founded the health and physiotherapy practice Fit-Konzept (www.fit-konzept.de). In addition to physiotherapy and myofascial treatment,
Carina and Jürgen also offer nutritional advice and health training. In these areas, Jürgen has acquired the german Nutrition Trainer B License and the License for Health Training from the BSA Academy in Saarbrücken.
Cree Barnett Williams
Jamaikanisch-irischer Herkunft, mit Wohnsitz in Berlin und geboren im Vereinigten Königreich, absolvierte Cree ihre Ausbildung an der Rambert School in London und war Mitglied der johannes wieland company am Staatstheater Kasselin Deutschland. International arbeitete sie mit Künstler:innen wie Tom Weinberger, Helder Seabra, thrbdrgns, Marina Mascarell, Elisabeth Schilling und Christopher Roman sowie im Film mit Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Punchdrunk, Holly Blakey und Carla Massolini zusammen. In deren international preisgekröntem Kurzfilm To The Body wirkte sie sowohl als Schauspielerin als auch als Movement Director mit. Zuletzt arbeitete Cree mit der in New York ansässigen Autorin und Regisseurin Constance Lake an der Entwicklung ihres Theaterstücks I Turn Myself – sowohl als Schauspielerin als auch als Choreografin.
Cree’s eigene Arbeiten beschäftigen sich mit mentaler Gesundheit, dem Wellness-Kult, der politischen Dimension des weiblichen Körpers sowie dem dringenden Bedürfnis nach Freude und wurden an verschiedenen Theatern und Festivals im Vereinigten Königreich und in Deutschland gezeigt. 2025 produzierte sie ihr erstes abendfüllendes Werk ELEFANTIN, das im Vereinigten Königreich Premiere feierte. Als Moderatorin leitet Cree regelmäßig Podiumsdiskussionen und Veranstaltungen für das b12 festival in Berlin und ist Mitkuratorin der Plattform deep space. Dort werden Themen wie künstliche versus verkörperte Intelligenz, Ausbildung in den darstellenden Künsten, persönliche und berufliche Nachhaltigkeit sowie Machtstrukturen im Tanzsektor verhandelt. Sie ist überzeugt, dass Diskussions- und Interviewformate entscheidend dafür sind, uns als Individuen über unsere Erfahrungen miteinander zu verbinden und zugleich die Strukturen von Tanz und Kunst kritisch zu hinterfragen.

Jana hat einen erstklassigen Abschluss mit Auszeichnung in Kunstmanagement und ist eine in Glasgow ansässige Produzentin von Multikunstformen mit umfassender Erfahrung in der internationalen Zusammenarbeit.
Da sie über viele Jahre in den Bereichen Theater, Tanz, Tonkunst, Musik, Film und bildende Kunst gearbeitet hat, hat sie eine Leidenschaft für die Realisierung ungewöhnlicher und oft ortsspezifischer Projekte.
Abgesehen von den eher konventionellen Aufführungsorten hat sie Performances und Installationen in Tunneln, auf Friedhöfen, auf Kränen, auf Booten und in Bahnhöfen produziert.
Zu ihren Kunden zählen eine Vielzahl renommierter Organisationen wie das Scottish Ensemble, Cryptic, Untitled Projects, Company of Wolves, der British Council und Creative Scotland.
Sie freut sich sehr darauf, Elisabeths wunderschönes Werk zu produzieren.

Piera Jovic
Piera is a dancer and physical theatre performer based in Luxembourg. She is particularly fond of interdisciplinary formats in live performance and, more broadly, the complementary nature of the arts. A freelance professional since 2015, she is primarily dedicated to her career as a stage performer, but also places great importance on artistic collaboration, whether as an outside eye, assistant or as a choreographer for theatre productions. She regularly works with artists from other artistic fields, which allows her to expand her explorations beyond the moving body and fuels her desire for continuous training.
Brian Ca
Brian Ca is a versatile dancer, trained in contemporary, classical and hip-hop dance. He began his professional training at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon and joined the Ballet Junior de Genève two years later to enrich his technical range. Over the course of his career, he has performed 35 eclectic choreographic works, ranging from the explosive energies of Wayne Mac Gregor to the supple qualities of Hofesh Schechter. Mainly in the leading roles, he has danced in works by various companies including Richard Siegal, Andonis Foniadakis, Opéra du Rhin, Damien Jalet, Joëlle Bouvier, Angelin Prejlocaj in various companies including the Scottish Dance Theater and the Compagnie Grenade.
In October 2017 he acted as assistant to Douglas Becker due to his pedagogical qualities. Brian Ca has subsequently worked at various institutions (CNSMD, Eastmann Summer Intensive, etc.) to teach the repertoire of D. Becker and William Forsythe. In addition, Brian Ca developed his own artistic work, focusing on psychology, neurology and digital art. In the context of this work he seeks a new aesthetics of human movement, which nourished by the choreographic diversity he has acquired through his experiments.
Elisabeth Christine Holth
Elisabeth Christine Holth received her diploma and bachelor degree in classical ballet from Oslo’s National Academy of the Arts. After graduating in 2008 she joined the Conservatoire National Supérieur de musique et danse de Lyon, Jeune Ballet. She has from thereon had the opportunity to dance with the Norwegian National Ballet, with companies and choreographers in the contemporary field in Germany, Norway, Sweden and Luxembourg. Now based in Oslo as a freelance dancer, working with Shi Pratt, Elisabeth Schilling, Odd Johan Fritzøe to name a few. Elisabeth truly enjoys collaborating across her artform and works with musicians and actors. While touring she also reaches out to the local community to give workshops and share her love of the arts. A certified teacher in GYROKINESIS® and enjoys teaching students and professionals in this movement method, as well as ballet classes. Elisabeth is half Norwegian and half British. She is fluent in Norwegian, British, French and Swedish. She has a diploma from the University of Oslo in French Culture History, and is currently taking a master’s degree in Arts & Society.
Natalia Gabrielczyk
Natalia Gabrielczyk is part of the Hofesh Shechter Company since 2018. She studied Dance at Anton Bruckner University in Linz, where she also collaborated with Landestheater Linz. At the Hofesh Shechter Company she has been part of SHOW , East Wall, Shechter Underground and Grand Finale . She also teaches Hofesh Shechter Masterclasses.
Valentin Goniot
Valentin started dancing with hip-hop until the age of 15 and then started training in ballet and contemporary.
In 2017 at the age of 17 he joined the Ballet Junior de Genève where he worked and peformered repertoire from renouned choreographers such as Hofesh Shechter, Barak Marshall, Sharon Eyal, Maguy Marin, Emmanuel Gat, Ambra Senatore, Roy Assaf, Alexander Eckman and Pina Bausch.
He also had the oportunity to be part of creations with Theo Clinkard and Olivier Dubois.
On the side of his intense training, he enriched his vocabulary by participating several workshops including a lot of Gaga classes and Ohad Naharin repertoire.

Hildegard Elisabeth Schilling wurde 1957 in Mainz geboren. Sie studierte Rechtswissenschaft an der Johannes Gutenberg Universität Mainz. Seit 1987 ist sie als Rechtsanwältin zugelassen und ist mit ihrer Kanzlei in Wittlich tätig. Hildegard Schilling unterstützt die Making Dances a.s.b.l. in Bezug auf rechtliche Fragen.

Sebastian Simon wurde 1989 in Trier geboren und studierte BWL auf Bachelor und Master in Trier und Hamburg. Seit 2018 ist er bei PwC Luxembourg in der Wirtschaftsprüfung tätig. Seit 2013 verfolgt er die Arbeit Elisabeth Schillings und unterstützt die a.s.b.l. seit 2017 vornehmlich in Fragen des Wirtschafts- und Finanzmanagements.

Christopher Petry wurde 1990 in Traben-Trabach geboren und studierte Maschienenbau auf Bachelor und Master in Trier. Der Abschluss seines Doktorstudiums steht unmittelbar bevor.

Sarah Rock ist freischaffende Theaterdramaturgin und Kulturjournalistin. Zur Zeit arbeitet sie hauptsächlich mit Anne Simon und Daliah Kentges. Seit 2018 ist Sarah Rock Dramaturgin beim Fundamental Monodrama Festival und gestaltet mit Steve Karier und Daliah Kentges das Festival-Programm.
Frau Rock lernte die Choreographin Elisabeth Schilling 2017 bei der Arbeit zu SIXFOLD im Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean (MUDAM) kennen. Seitdem unterstützt sie deren Arbeit regelmäßig beratend.
Piera Jovic
Piera ist Tänzerin und Physical-Theatre-Performerin mit Sitz in Luxemburg. Sie interessiert sich besonders für interdisziplinäre Formate in der Live-Performance und ganz allgemein für die komplementäre Natur der Künste. Seit 2015 ist sie freischaffend tätig und widmet sich in erster Linie ihrer Karriere als Bühnenperformerin, legt jedoch ebenso großen Wert auf künstlerische Zusammenarbeit – sei es als außenstehender Blick, als Assistentin oder als Choreografin für Theaterproduktionen.
Sie arbeitet regelmäßig mit Künstlerinnen und Künstlern aus anderen künstlerischen Bereichen zusammen, was es ihr ermöglicht, ihre Forschungen über den sich bewegenden Körper hinaus zu erweitern und ihren Wunsch nach kontinuierlicher Weiterbildung zu nähren.
Brian Ca
Brian Ca ist ein vielseitiger Tänzer, der in zeitgenössischem, klassischem und Hip-Hop-Tanz ausgebildet ist. Im Oktober 2017 agierte er aufgrund seiner pädagogischen Qualitäten zum Assistenten von Douglas Becker. Im Anschluss war Brian Ca bei verschiedenen Institutionen (CNSMD, Eastmann Summer Intensive, u.a….) tätig, um das Repertoire von D. Becker und William Forsythe zu vermitteln. Nebenher entwickelte Brian Ca seine eigene künstlerische Arbeit, wobei er sich auf Psychologie, Neurologie und digitale Kunst konzentriert. Elisabeth Christine Holth
Elisabeth Christine Holth erhielt ihr Diplom sowie ihren Bachelor-Abschluss in klassischem Ballett an der Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Nach ihrem Abschluss im Jahr 2008 trat sie dem Jeune Ballet am Conservatoire National Supérieur de musique et danse de Lyon bei. Von dort aus hatte sie die Möglichkeit, mit dem Norwegian National Ballet sowie mit Kompanien und Choreograf:innen aus dem zeitgenössischen Bereich in Deutschland, Norwegen, Schweden und Luxemburg zu tanzen.
Heute lebt sie in Oslo und arbeitet dort als freischaffende Tänzerin, unter anderem mit Shi Pratt, Elisabeth Schilling und Odd Johan Fritzøe. Elisabeth schätzt besonders die spartenübergreifende Zusammenarbeit und arbeitet regelmäßig mit Musiker:innen und Schauspieler:innen zusammen. Während ihrer Tourneen sucht sie zudem den Austausch mit der lokalen Gemeinschaft, gibt Workshops und teilt ihre Begeisterung für die Künste.
Sie ist zertifizierte Lehrerin für GYROKINESIS® und unterrichtet mit großer Freude sowohl Schüler:innen als auch professionelle Tänzer:innen in dieser Bewegungsmethode sowie im klassischen Ballett. Elisabeth ist halb Norwegerin und halb Britin. Sie spricht fließend Norwegisch, Englisch (britisch), Französisch und Schwedisch. Zudem besitzt sie ein Diplom der University of Oslo in Französischer Kulturgeschichte und absolviert derzeit einen Masterstudiengang in Arts & Society.
Natalia Gabrielczy
Natalia Gabrielczyk ist seit 2018 Teil der Hofesh Shechter Company. Sie studierte Tanz an der Anton-Bruckner-Universität in Linz, wo sie auch mit dem Landestheater Linz zusammenarbeitete. Valentin Goniot
Valentin tanzte bis zum Alter von 15 Jahren Hip-Hop und begann dann mit der Ausbildung in Ballett und zeitgenössischem Tanz.
Im Alter von 17 Jahren trat er 2017 dem Ballet Junior de Genève bei, wo er mit namhaften Choreographen wie Hofesh Shechter, Barak Marshall, Sharon Eyal, Maguy Marin, Emmanuel Gat, Ambra Senatore, Roy Assaf, Alexander Eckman und Pina Bausch arbeitete und deren Repertoire interpretierte.
Außerdem wirkte er an Kreationen mit Theo Clinkard und Olivier Dubois mit.
Neben seinem intensiven Training bereicherte er seinen Wortschatz durch die Teilnahme an mehreren Workshops, darunter viele Gaga-Kurse und Ohad Naharin-Repertoire.
Nina Schaeffer
Nina Schaeffer entwirft die Beleuchtung für Veranstaltungen von Konzerten bis hin zu Theater- und Tanzshows. Sie hat für Institutionen wie das luxemburgische Atelier und das Grand Théâtre de la Ville de Luxembourg gearbeitet. Im Jahr 2015 gründete sie Thunderbolt and Lighting.
Cathy Krier
Als „ECHO Rising Star“ der Saison 2015/2016 ausgezeichnet, feierte die luxemburgische Pianistin Cathy Krier große Erfolge in den renommiertesten Konzertsälen Europas. Ihre Programme verbinden klassische und moderne Epochen und umfassen Werke von Rameau, Schubert, Ravel und Berg. Sie arbeitete mit bedeutenden Komponist:innen wie Wolfgang Rihm, Konstantia Gourzi, Catherine Kontz und Denis Schuler zusammen.
Cathys Leidenschaft für Musik treibt sie stets dazu an, über Konventionen hinauszugehen. Sie arbeitet besonders gern an außergewöhnlichen Projekten und erweitert kontinuierlich ihre künstlerischen Grenzen, um sowohl ihre eigene Neugier als auch die ihres Publikums zu wecken. Dazu zählen sorgfältig konzipierte Soloprogramme ebenso wie Kooperationen mit Choreograf:innen wie Elisabeth Schilling (Hear Eyes Move mit den Klavieretüden von György Ligeti), musikalische Reisen für junges Publikum (Clara! – Eine kompositorische Reise mit Musik von Clara Schumann und Catherine Kontz, inszeniert von Tobias Ribitzki), Musiktheaterproduktionen (Funeral Blues – the missing cabaret, inszeniert von Olivier Fredj), Projekte mit ihren Kammermusikpartner:innen Laurence Koch (Violine) und Nils Kohler (Klarinette) sowie ein jährlicher Zyklus für Yoga at the Phil in der Philharmonie Luxembourg.
Im Jahr 2022 rief Cathy das Catch Music Festival in Luxemburg ins Leben, das junge und erfahrene Musiker:innen zusammenbringt, um gemeinsam Musik zu erleben und herausragende Kammermusik zu spielen.

Radio- und Fernsehauftritte – zuletzt in Daniel Hopes Musikreihe EUROPE@HOME auf arte – ergänzen ihren dichten künstlerischen Kalender.
Ihre CDs – *Rameau. Ligeti, Piano – 20th Century* und *Masques*, alle erschienen beim Label Cavi-Music – wurden von der Presse hervorragend besprochen. Ihre im August 2021 veröffentlichte Einspielung der Klavieretüden von György Ligeti gilt als Referenzaufnahme. Im September 2024 erschien ihre neue CD *Piano Poems* beim deutschen Label GENUIN, die die Beziehung zwischen Musik und Literatur nachzeichnet.
Die in Luxemburg geborene Cathy Krier begann ihr Klavierstudium im Alter von fünf Jahren am Konservatorium Luxemburg. Mit 14 Jahren wurde sie in die Virtuosenklasse von Pavel Gililov an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln aufgenommen. Weitere musikalische Impulse erhielt sie von Dominique Merlet, Robert Levin, Homero Francesch und Andrea Lucchesini, bei dem sie ihr Studium an der Scuola di Musica di Fiesole fortsetzte. Bereits mit 15 Jahren nahm sie Ludwig van Beethovens Klavierkonzert Nr. 4 mit dem Lettischen Philharmonischen Kammerorchester unter der Leitung von Carlo Jans auf.
Zur Eröffnung der Philharmonie Luxembourg im Jahr 2005 spielte Cathy Krier vierhändig mit dem Pianisten Cyprien Katsaris. 2007 wirkte sie zudem an der Eröffnung von „Luxemburg und Großregion – Kulturhauptstadt Europas“ mit.
Seit 2018 ist Cathy Krier Professorin für Klavier am Konservatorium der Stadt Luxemburg, wo sie auch mit ihrer Familie lebt.
Andreas Papapetrou
Andreas Papapetrou ist Komponist, Performer, Forscher und Musiklehrer. Sein kompositorisches Schaffen umfasst Werke für verschiedene Ensembles in unterschiedlichen Genres, vom Solo bis hin zu vollsinfonischen Orchesterwerken, sowie Werke der elektroakustischen und elektronischen Musik und Werke für Theater, Film und Tanz. Als klassisch ausgebildeter Pianist und Akkordeonist konzentriert er sich auf Werke der zeitgenössischen Musik, kunstübergreifende Performance und Improvisation.
Seine Kompositionen wurden u.a. vom Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra, dem Fidelio Trio, dem DissonArt Ensemble, dem Athens Contemporary Music Ensemble, den CoMA Voices London, dem Marson Harp Trio, dem Solstice und Wu Streichquartett an verschiedenen Orten in Großbritannien, Europa und dem Nahen Osten aufgeführt, so unter anderem in dem Institut für Zeitgenössische Kunst London, des Nationalen Schifffahrtsmuseums London, der Barbican-Ausstellungshallen London, der Colourscape, des Athener Megaron, der Jerusalemer Akademie für Musik und Tanz, der zypriotischen Theaterorganisation THOC und der Kulturstiftung der Bank von Zypern. Bis heute führte er sechs große interdisziplinäre Aufführungen seiner eigenen Kompositionen auf und kuratiert, wie z.B. Reclaiming the Roof (Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, 2018), Sound and Seek (Colourscape Commission 2017, Clapham Common), Desmōtēs (BoCCF, 2017), The Sounding Museum (BoCCF, 2017), Exercise: Les Noces (Trinity Laban Parallax 09: Peckham Asylum, 2016), Aus der Luft gegriffen (Nullwelle: Altes Finsbury Rathaus, 2016).
1984 in Nikosia, Zypern, geboren, begann er schon früh mit dem Musikstudium und erhielt währenddessen mehrere Stipendien und Auszeichnungen. Er schloss sein Studium an der griechischen Musikhochschule 2001 mit einem Klavierlehrerdiplom (Ptychion) mit Auszeichnung ab. Er setzte seine Studien in Griechenland fort und schloss 2008 sein Studium am Staatlichen Konservatorium von Thessaloniki mit einem Diplom für Klavierspiel mit Auszeichnung ab. 2009 erwarb er an der Aristoteles Universität von Thessaloniki sein Ptychion (BA & MA Degree) in Komposition mit Auszeichnung. Danach zog er nach London, wo er am Trinity College of Music Komposition studierte und 2011 seinen MMus in Komposition mit Auszeichnung erwarb. Im Jahr 2016 schloss er seinen PhD in Creative Practice – Composition (ohne Änderungen bestanden) am Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance ab, betreut von Dominic Murcott und Sophie Fuller ab.
Er studierte Musikkomposition bei Michalis Lapidakis, Panayiotis Kokoras, Errollyn Wallen, Stephen Montague und Dominic Murcott. Er studierte Klavier bei Elena Sophocleous u.a., Akkordeon bei Irinoula Constantinidou und Gesang bei Yula Michail.
Zu seinen Auszeichnungen und Stipendien gehören: Eye Music Trust Musikkommission (2017), Stipendium der Onassis Foundation. Derzeit ist er wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter der Europäischen Universität von Zypern und arbeitet auch als Musiklehrer an der American International School of Cyprus.
Michèle Tonteling wurde in Luxemburg geboren und studierte Kostüm- und Bühnenbilddesign an der Artesis Hogeschool Antwerpen. 2014 schloss sie ihren Master-Abschluss in Kostümdesign an der UDK (Universität der Künste) in Berlin ab. Von 2000-2015 arbeitete und lernte sie in Zusammenarbeit mit den Künstlern Hendrick Van den Kerchove und Tiziana Raffaelli und erwarb sich fundierte Kenntnisse in verschiedenen Maltechniken.
Zurzeit lebt sie in Berlin und Luxemburg und arbeitet als Kostümbildnerin und Künstlerin in den Bereichen Film, Tanz und Theater. Michèles Vielseitigkeit in der Arbeit mit den unterschiedlichsten Materialien verbindet sich mit ihrer Liebe zum Detail und zur Beobachtung.
Melanie Planchard
Melanie Planchard ist eine freiberufliche Kostümdesignerin, die seit 2011 in den Bereichen Film, Theater, Performance und Tanz arbeitet. Melanie weiß, dass ‚Visuals‘ unerlässlich sind, um dem Publikum die Botschaft einer Performance zu vermitteln. Sie arbeitet gerne eng mit Choreographen und Regisseuren zusammen, um Designs zu entwickeln, die relevant und bedeutungsvoll sind. Sie glaubt, dass Designs nicht autonom und dekorativ sein sollten und nur auf der Bühne mit den Darstellern Sinn machen.
Nach ihrem BA in “Modedesign” von der Haute Ecole Francisco Ferrer in Brüssel, erhielt sie ein Masterdiplom in “Costume Design for Performance” von der University of the Arts London. Während ihres Master-Programms erhielt sie ein Stipendium für künstlerische Studien von der Auguste Van Werveke-Hanno Stiftung.
Sie entwarf und fertigte Kostüme für Juliette Films (LU), Amour Fou (LU), Trois CL (LU), Philharmonie Luxemburg (LU), Grand Théâtre du Luxembourg (LU), Théâtre d’Esch (LU) und Tate Modern (Großbritannien), Théâtre National du Luxembourg (LU), Rotondes (LU) an.
Sie hat kürzlich den stART-up-Fonds der “Oeuvre Nationale de Secours Grand-Duchesse Charlotte” gewonnen und bereitet in Zusammenarbeit mit der Fotografin Martine Pinnel eine Kostüm-Fotoausstellung vor.
Bohumil Kosthoryz ‚Boshua‘
Bohumil Kosthoryz ist ein freischaffender Photograph und Videograph in Luxembourg. Er ist im Besonderen bekannt für seine Arbeit im Tanz- und Theaterbereich.
David Lawson
David arbeitet seit fünfzehn Jahren in der darstellenden Kunst, wobei seine letzte Vollzeitstelle als Bühnen- und Tourneemanager am Scottish Dance Theatre wahrgenommen wurde. Er setzt die Bewegung und das Heldentum des Tanzes mit seiner Leidenschaft, dem Snowboarding, gleich. David arbeitet derzeit an seiner Doktorarbeit über Menschenrechte.
Tyśka Samborska – ursprünglich aus Polen, hat einen Master of Arts von der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Venedig und einen Bachelor of Arts in Französischer Literatur und Theater an der Jagiellonen-Universität in Krakau. Sie studierte Performance-Kunst von Künstlern wie Michikazu Matsune, Marisa Carnesky, Jurgen Fritzn, Johannes BBB Deimling oder Alastaire MacLennan und nahm an verschiedenen Kunstaufenthalten, Performance-Festivals und Ausstellungen in Europa und Asien teil.
Durch die Arbeit für die Biennale für zeitgenössische Kunst in Venedig, die Francois-Pinault-Stiftung, die Finnische Biokunstgesellschaft oder Capgemini hat Tyśka auch umfangreiche administrative Erfahrungen als leitende Assistentin, Organisatorin von Kunstveranstaltungen und Kulturvermittlerin gesammelt.
Tyska’s Mitarbeit wurde vom EU Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Programme finanziert.

Annick Kieffer
Annick Kieffer ist eine Design-Direktorin aus Luxemburg.
Sie studierte Design in Stuttgart und schloss ihr Studium an der FH Trier mit einem Diplom in Kommunikationsdesign ab. Annick hat verschiedene Praktika in München, Brüssel und Luxemburg absolviert. Bevor sie bei StudioPolenta arbeitete, war sie für lola tätig.
Moritz Gansen
Moritz Gansen hat Philosophie, Soziologie und Anglistik an der Freien Universität Berlin, am Centre for Research in Modern European Philosophy, Kingston University, am Goldsmiths, University of London sowie an der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg studiert. Derzeit promoviert er am Institut für Philosophie der Technischen Universität Darmstadt mit einer Arbeit zur Rezeption und Transformation des anglo-amerikanischen Pragmatismus in der französischen Philosophie des 20. Jahrhunderts. Er hielt Vorträge in Deutschland, Finnland, Irland, den Niederlanden, Schweden, der Schweiz, Spanien und dem Vereinigten Königreich und veröffentlichte seine Arbeiten in mehreren Sammelbänden. Moritz Gansen ist Mitbegründer der kollektiven Plattform diffrakt | zentrum für theoretische peripherie, wo er seit der Gründung zahlreiche Veranstaltungen organisiert hat, darunter auch, mit Hannah Wallenfels, die Reihe dis:positions | Französische Philosophie heute und mit Georg Dickmann und Hannah Wallenfels die Reihe SO FAR | Science-Fiction(s). Neben seinen theoretischen und philosophiehistorischen Beschäftigungen arbeitet er als freier Übersetzer und Lektor und als freier Dramaturg. Moritz Gansen lebt in Berlin.
Simone Stewart
Simone Stewart ist Marketing- und Kommunikationsmanagerin, Kuratorin und Kunstberaterin mit Erfahrung in mehreren nationalen Museen und Kunstinstitutionen in Großbritannien wie Victoria and Albert Museum, Royal Academy of Arts und der Wallace Collection sowie bei verschiedenen internationalen Projekten in Europa, USA und Asien. Sie diversifizierte ihre Praxis und arbeitete eng mit international renommierten Tanzkompanien zusammen, zuletzt mit dem Clod Ensemble für ein Projekt im britischen Pavillon auf der Biennale von Venedig 2018 / Tournee von Placebo 2018. Simone begann 2018 mit Elisabeth an der Arbeit FELT zu arbeiten und hat sie seitdem durch verschiedene Beratungsdienste im Bereich Marketing und visuelle Künste unterstützt.

Johanna Schmitt ist eine Masterstudentin im Fach Bildungswissenschaft an der Otto von Guericke Universität Magdeburg. Neben ihrem Studium engagiert sie sich in der politischen Bildungsarbeit und übernimmt viele administrative Aufgaben in ehrenamtlichen Tätigkeiten.

Veronika Meindl
Veronika Meindl studierte Kulturwissenschaften in Regensburg und Clermont-Ferrand. Nach ihrem Universitätsabschluss im Jahr 2008 arbeitete sie für verschiedene Kulturinstitutionen in Luxemburg, wie z.B. TROIS C-L Luxembourg in den Bereichen Produktion und Management.

Ana Maria Tzekov has been working in the field of music education for young audiences as Education Manager at the Philharmonie Luxembourg since 2018 and has taken over the management of the Orchestra Academy since 2023 after completing a Masters of Business Administration at HEC Liege Luxembourg. After her training in opera singing in Vienna, her studies in musicology and cultural management led her to the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Vienna Volksoper, the Ronacher and the Bregenz Festival.

Sebastian Simon was born in Trier in 1989 and studied business administration at Bachelor and Master level in Trier and Hamburg. Since 2018, he has been working in the audit practice at PwC Luxembourg. He has been following the work of Elisabeth Schilling since 2013 and has been supporting a.s.b.l. since 2017, primarily in questions of economic and financial management.

Christopher Petry was born in Traben-Trabach in 1990 and studied mechanical engineering at Bachelor and Master level in Trier. The completion of his doctoral studies is imminent.

Nina Schaeffer designs the lighting for events ranging from concerts to theatre and dance shows. She has worked for institutions such as the Luxembourg Atelier and the Grand Théâtre de la Ville de Luxembourg. In 2015 she founded Thunderbolt and Lighting.
Cathy Krier
Elected “ECHO Rising Star” for the 2015/2016 season, Luxembourg pianist Cathy Krier has enjoyed great success in the most prestigious concert halls in Europe. Her programmes, combining classical and modern periods and featuring works by Rameau, Schubert, Ravel and Berg. She has collaborated with great composers such as Wolfgang Rihm, Konstantia Gourzi, Catherine Kontz or Denis Schuler.
Cathy’s passion for music always drives her to go beyond conventions. She loves to work on special projects and pushes her boundaries to go beyond herself and arouse her curiosity and that of her audience. This includes well-thaught solo programmes as well as collaborations with choreographers such as Elisabeth Schilling (Hear Eyes Move with the piano etudes of György Ligeti), musical journeys for younger audiences (Clara! – A compositional journey with music by Clara Schumann and Catherine Kontz, directed by Tobias Ribitzki), music theatre (Funeral Blues – the missing cabaret, directed by Olivier Fredj), projects with her chamber music partners Laurence Koch (violin) and Nils Kohler (clarinet) and an annual cycle for Yoga at the Phil at the Philharmonie Luxembourg.
In 2022, Cathy launched the Catch Music Festival in Luxembourg aiming to bring young and experienced musicians together to enjoy music and play fantastic chamber music.
Cathy Krier has given successful concerts at the Bozar in Brussels, the Barbican Centre in London, the Philharmonie 2 in Paris, the Sage Gateshead, the Philharmonie Luxembourg, the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, the Konzerthaus Dortmund, the Palau de la musica in Barcelona, at the Calouste Gulbenkian Fondation in Lisbon, at the Palace of Arts (Müpa) in Budapest, Konserthus Stockholm, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Cologne Philharmonie, Casa da musica in Porto, Musikverein Vienna, Town Hall in Birmingham, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden as well as at the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Radio and television appearances – most recently on Daniel Hope’s musical journey EUROPE@HOME on arte – frame Cathy’s busy artistic schedule.
Her CDs – Rameau. Ligeti, Piano – 20th Century and Masques – all released on the Cavi-Music label, have received excellent reviews from the press, Her CD of György Ligeti’s piano etudes released in August 2021 has been praised as a record of reference. In September 2024, she released a new CD – Piano Poems- on the German label GENUIN, that traces the relationship between music and literature.
Born in Luxembourg, Cathy Krier began her piano studies at the Luxembourg Conservatory at the age of five. Since 2018, Cathy Krier has held a professorship in piano at the Conservatory of the City of Luxembourg, where she also lives with her family.

Andreas Papapetrou is a composer, performer, researcher and music teacher. His compositional output includes works for various ensembles in various genres, from solo to full symphonic orchestral works, as well as works of electroacoustic and electronic music and works for theatre, film and dance. As a classically trained pianist and accordionist, he concentrates on works of contemporary music, cross-art performance and improvisation.

Melanie Planchard
Melanie Planchard is a freelance costume designer who has been working in the fields of film, theatre, performance and dance since 2011. Melanie knows that ‘visuals’ are essential to get the message of a performance across to the audience. She enjoys working closely with choreographers and directors to create designs that are relevant and meaningful. She believes that designs should not be autonomous and decorative and only make sense on stage with the performers.
After her BA in “Fashion Design” from the Haute Ecole Francisco Ferrer in Brussels, she received a Masters degree in “Costume Design for Performance” from the University of the Arts London. During her master program she received a scholarship for artistic studies from the Auguste Van Werveke-Hanno Foundation.
She designed and made costumes for Juliette Films (LU), Amour Fou (LU), Trois CL (LU), Philharmonie Luxembourg (LU), Grand Théâtre du Luxembourg (LU), Théâtre d’Esch (LU) and Tate Modern (UK), Théâtre National du Luxembourg (LU), Rotondes (LU).
She has recently won the stART-up fund of the “Oeuvre Nationale de Secours Grand-Duchesse Charlotte” and is preparing in collaboration with the photographer Martine Pinnel a costume photo exhibition.
Bohumil Kosthoryz ‚Boshua‘
Bohumil Kosthoryz is a freelance photographer and videographer in Luxembourg. He is especially known for his work in the dance and theatre field.
David Lawson
David has worked in the performance arts for fifteen years, with his last full-time position being stage and tour manager at Scottish Dance Theatre. He equates the movement and heroism of dance to that of his passion, snowboarding. David is currently working on his his PhD in Human Rights.
Tyśka Samborska- originally from Poland, she holds an MA from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and a BA in French Literature and Theater in Jagiellonian University in Cracow. She was studying performance art from artists such as Michikazu Matsune, Marisa Carnesky, Jurgen Fritzn, Johannes BBB Deimling or Alastaire MacLennan and has participated in various art residencies, performance festivals and exhibitions in Europe and Asia.
By working for Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art, Francois Pinault Foundation, Finnish Bioart Society or Capgemini, Tyśka also gained a solid administrative experience as an excecutive assistant, art events organizer and cultural mediator.
Tyska’s contribution to Elisabeth Schilling’s work was funded by the EU Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Programme.

Frances founded her own company, SpokenWord Limited, in 2002 and delivers all aspects of business persuasion training from Presentation, Negotiation, Selling, Influence and Persuasion, Management Coaching, Leadership and Personal Impact training. A large part of her work involves working with entrepreneurs in the creative art industries on developing their marketing and pitching skills to a range of different audiences from investors to potential joint ventures or buyers.
Frances Tipper’s twenty years of sales and marketing experience began at Reuters, the global financial information provider. She moved from sales divisions and account management into international marketing and was responsible for negotiating global accounts and the development and launches of their flagship financial information and FX transaction products worldwide.
Frances moved to general management in the US and, working closely with a Reuters subsidiary in Silicon Valley, created a new group overseeing the development and marketing of the first web-based products offered by Reuters.

Annick Kieffer
Annick Kieffer is a design director from Luxembourg. She studied design in Stuttgart and finished her studies at the FH Trier with a diploma in communication design. Annick completed various internships in Munich, Brussels and Luxembourg. Before she worked at StudioPolenta, she worked for lola.
Moritz Gansen
Moritz Gansen studied philosophy, sociology and English language and literature at the Free University of Berlin, the Centre for Research in Modern European Philosophy, Kingston University, Goldsmiths, University of London and the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg. He is currently doing his doctorate at the Institute of Philosophy at the Technical University of Darmstadt with a thesis on the reception and transformation of Anglo-American pragmatism in 20th century French philosophy. He has lectured in Germany, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and the United Kingdom and published his work in several anthologies. Moritz Gansen is co-founder of the collective platform diffrakt | zentrum für theoretische peripherie, where he has organised numerous events since its foundation, including, with Hannah Wallenfels, the series dis:positions | French philosophy today and with Georg Dickmann and Hannah Wallenfels the series SO FAR | Science-Fiction(s). In addition to his theoretical and philosophical-historical activities, he works as a freelance translator and editor and as a freelance dramaturg. Moritz Gansen lives in Berlin.
Simone Stewart
Simone Stewart is a marketing and communications manager, curator and art consultant with experience in several national museums and art institutions in the UK such as the Victoria and Albert Museum, Royal Academy of Arts and the Wallace Collection, as well as in various international projects in Europe, USA and Asia. She diversified her practice and worked closely with internationally renowned dance companies, most recently with the Clod Ensemble for a project in the British Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2018 / Placebo tour 2018. Simone began working with Elisabeth on the work FELT in 2018 and has since supported her through various consulting services in the field of marketing and visual arts.
Johanna Schmitt
Johanna Schmitt is a Master’s student in educational science at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. Besides her studies she is involved in political education work and takes over many administrative tasks in voluntary work.

Feral Arts produces a portfolio of performance and movement practitioners including Al Seed, Colette Sadler, Oceanallover, Nic Green, Liz Aggiss, Bex Anson and Dav Bernard (MHz), Mele Broomes and Sita Pieraccini. Feral supports artists who work across art forms and advocates who explore new performance languages through their practice.
During their careers over the last 14 years they have held curatorial and management positions at a number of Scotland’s leading arts festivals, including National Review of Live Art, Arches Live, Behaviour Festival, Early Days Festival, Glasgay, Into The New, Sound Thought Festival, Solas Festival, Dance House Glasgow’s Winterfest and Mischief La Bas’. Veronika Meindl
Veronika Meindl studied cultural sciences in Regensburg and Clermont-Ferrand. After graduating in 2008, she worked for various cultural institutions in Luxembourg, such as TROIS C-L Luxembourg in the fields of production and management.
Since 2019 she has also been working freelance with dancers and choreographers to support them in administrative and production-related tasks.
Lunch Time Talk at Glasgow University
On 12th November 2019 between 1-2pm, Elisabeth will give a Lunch Time talk at the University of Glasgow invited by the Theatre Studies Department. She will talk about her past work and also open the conversation to questions from the audience.
Wonder Women Festival Italy
Together with pianist Cathy Krier, Elisabeth has been invited to the Wonder Women Festival in Tuscany, Italy to perform the work ‘Sketches on Ligeti’
The performance will take place on 28th October 2019 at 9pm at Teatro San Girolamo di Lucca.

PEER GYNT at Philharmonie Luxembourg
Raise the curtain! When the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg plays the first bars of Edvard Grieg’s orchestral suite Peer Gynt in the Grand Auditorium, the participants of the music theatre workshop prepare for their grand performance. For five days, together with workshop leader Elisabeth Schilling, they will develop a choreographic painting of the Scandinavian world of Peer Gynt with its trolls, fairies and other mythical creatures, which is a central component of the great concert “Peer Gynt” – A Musical Fantasy in the series “OPL Familles” in October.
