Review of SIXFOLD following the performances in Aberdeen:

‘The moon on a string…A feeling of restraint and release, of emergence and rebirth. The movement took unexpected turns, from minimal to tentative starts to pushing boundaries and taking form in strength. With every limb hidden was a piece released in other forms. The music bursting to a crescendo and crushing on the back and shoulder of the dancer, releasing her in a way from the string and the planet engulfing her previously. […] There is calm in this struggle…’ Simon Scott

Thank you to City Moves Dance Agency and The Anatomy Rooms for making it possible.

SIXFOLD has received a broad interest in Elisabeth’s hometown, Wittlich. The piece has been performed over 19 times; the children workshops were fully booked with a participation of 80 kids throughout the week. It was a special week with extraordinary impressions, interesting people taking place in a specific place that Elisabeth will surely keep in good memory.

From May 30th – June 3rd, Elisabeth will be in residence in Casa Tony M., a museum in her hometown Wittlich. During this week she will offer free workshops for kids and tennagers. She will furthermore perform her work SIXFOLD hourly on Thursday & Friday. There will be an exhibition around the creation process of the work and a post-show discussion after every performance.
