Join in to the Green Disco and let yourself be taken on a journey that fuses movement, sound and nature. Throughout the park you can find seven panels attached to specific trees. On these panels you can find QR Codes inviting you to listen to how the tree sounds from inside. Next to that, movement prompts invite you to dance a duet with nature. Let yourself be taken by your own creative exploration, your own artistic journey.

There is no right or wrong in the arts.

Let your steps follow the twists and turns of the roots – their structure both steady and flowing supports you as you move. As you walk, listen to the rhythm of the earth beneath you, how the roots bend, spread, and intertwine – telling a silent tale of deep, ancient connection. With every step, sink deeper into the earth, feel the pulse of the roots under your feet, and surrender to the quiet wisdom of their path.

SIGN 4 – THE BARK

Feel the bark beneath your fingertips—its texture rich and varied. Smooth in places, rough in others, with deep ridges and gentle grooves, each contour telling a story of time and resilience. Now, invite a body part of your choice (e.g.hands or shoulders) to move in response to the bark textures you are observing. There is no right and no wrong. Simply let yourself be taken onto a journey of creative discovery. At times, move slowly, tracing the smooth parts with a soft, flowing motion, then shift to the rougher, textured areas with more deliberate, grounded gestures. Feel the ridges and valleys under your fingertips, guiding your hands through sharp, precise movements, followed by fluid, sweeping motions. Allow the dance to mirror the layers of the bark—sometimes still, sometimes alive with energy, always rooted in the earth.

Feel the subtle stretch, the gradual unfolding of your neck extending, your head moving with grace and intention. Your movements begin gently – maybe a slight tilt, as if sensing a breeze – then gradually grow wider and more expansive.

As the branch grows, it reaches further and higher, the crown of your head gently swaying, in harmony with the rhythm of the wind. With every movement, your gaze shifts, your thoughts expand in new directions, exploring infinite possibilities. Your head moves forward and back, tilts to one side and then the other – it curves, twists, stretches toward new heights, always in search of growth, balance, and connection.

Now, let your body respond. Begin with small, gentle movements – like the first stirrings of a young tree. Your arms begin to stretch upward, your torso opens, as if a trunk was rising from the soil. With every breath, your body grows, expands, reaching toward the sky.

Your movements become more fluid, like branches swaying in the wind – twisting, swinging, embracing the space around you. The roots below anchor you, while your arms and legs extend outward and upward, becoming branches, leaves, and blossoms. Each movement is an expression of growth, a quiet dance of transformation – deeply rooted and yet reaching for the sky, always in balance, always connected to the earth.

Then, let the tension begin to soften, your movements gradually loosening, as if you are the leaf starting to unfurl. Feel each part of you stretch and release, beginning from your core and extending outward like the delicate veins of the leaf. Let your arms open wide, your fingers reaching gently outward, mimicking the leaf’s edges as they slowly spread. The movement is fluid and gentle, a dance of release and discovery. As the leaf unravels fully, your body blossoms open, feeling the freedom of expansion—every gesture light, every stretch purposeful, as you embrace the openness, the air, and the sunlight. You are the leaf, unwrapping layer by layer, dancing into the world with a quiet grace, as you shed your former self and open to new possibilities.

SIGN 8 – DECOMPOSITION & DECAY

Imagine the slow and inevitable process of decomposition – the way an old leaf or branch withers and detaches itself from the world around it. Start byfeeling the weight of your body, the heaviness that comes with time. Initiate slow, gradual movements, like the wilting of leaves in late autumn or the quiet crumbling of bark in the forest. Allow your posture to gently sink, as if gravity were softly pulling you toward the earth.

As you move, let your limbs grow heavier, lose their definition – as though parts of you were slowly disintegrating, shedding form and structure. Feel this dissolution – not as a loss, but as a natural, almost graceful process of transformation.

With every movement, let your body become more fluid, more relaxed, as if decomposition were softening and dissolving the edges of your form. Then, let the movement coil, twist, and unfurl, as if you’re being were fragmenting and returning to the earth, surrendering to nature’s endless cycle. Through this dance, embrace decomposition as a form of renewal – a gentle surrender to the passage of time and the beauty it reveals.
