Special Guest Performance at Mosel Musikfestival

We are thrilled to announce a special guest performance of our new creation Sensorial Symphonies at the Mosel Musikfestival.

1st October, 7:30 PM, Paulskirche, Trier

What if we could feel the world as plants do?

In Sensorial Symphonies, Associate Artist of Les Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg Elisabeth Schilling embarks on a radical experiment: to reshape how we perceive existence itself. Set against Rachmaninov’s iconic Piano Concerto No. 2—reimagined with a contemporary score by Pascal Schumacher and the living sounds of The Plant Philharmonic—the work is as ambitious as it is intricate.

Plants emerge not as metaphors, but as collaborators. Through sound, scent, design, and movement, the piece invites us to feel vegetal life and to question long-held hierarchies between human and nature.

Resisting easy interpretation, Sensorial Symphonies insists on an almost tactile engagement with its themes. In Schilling’s hands, dance becomes nature’s exuberant music—an inquiry, a transformation, a way of perceiving the world anew.
