Artist in Residence at CAPE Ettelbruck

From February to May 2026, Elisabeth Schilling will serve as Artist in Residence at CAPE Ettelbruck, shaping a season that brings together dance, music, art, reflection, and shared experience.

The residency unfolds around the dance work Florescence in Decay, creating a rich framing programme that expands the themes of transformation, renewal, and creative processes beyond the stage. Conceived as an open invitation, the season includes family workshops, philosophical circles, open rehearsals, storytelling hours, a dedicated youth project, and artistic interventions in public space. Through these formats, audiences of all ages are invited to pause, connect, and explore new perspectives.

Across all activities, people are invited not only to attend, but to participate: to share their voices, their creativity, their questions and experiences.
The residency fosters an evolving network around the artistic work – a space where exchange becomes part of the creation itself, and where community is shaped through shared curiosity and imagination.

Throughout the residency, CAPE becomes more than a venue; it becomes a shared space of encounter. A place where art is not only presented, but experienced and created together. A place, where creativity is lived as something that belongs to everyone.

All are warmly invited to take part in this season of transformation.
