Dear Phill Niblock,
  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How sad to hear of your passing.
The art and music world mourns your death whilst being in full admiration how you kept creating and touring until the very end…
  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am sharing two of our collaborations in your honour, showing your films and your music, which move me so.
  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I will never forget how you invited me to join your Tate Modern exhibition, supporting me to get a small commission from this institution at such a tender choreographic age after having seen me dance in Berlin one night…
  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I remember they gave you a choice of much more established artist, but somehow you insisted and trusted my movements and so the institution followed your wish… Together we also realised my first solo SIXFOLD. Your composition ‚One Large Rose‘ built the column the whole performance was built on and how much did we tour it…I still get goosebumps sensing those tones through my skin and bones…
  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I also remember the visit to Ghent, our long, yet quiet talks on music, how much you loved Maurice Ravel‘s Piano works and somehow you made me love him too. You have been so generous with your art, your invitations, your thoughts…
  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am actually planning a commission inspired by your films to premiere this year…
… and all your drones keep making me reflect on time in musical compositions…
…your art lives on and keeps moving through us in new ways…
  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thank you for everything,
